The Data Engineering department is responsible for full-stack design and development of the company’s central data & ML services and business platforms.
The department is responsible for the overall projects, design, architecture and development of huge scale and very challenging cloud-based Big Data, machine learning and business applicative platforms for ensuring excellence in the performance of business aspects including games & product design, marketing, retention, monetization, etc.
Department solutions support the optimization of the company’s overall business performance.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead the ML Engineering solution, technical design and development for our ML platform
- Work closely with the Data Science and infrastructure R&D teams to lead and create effective ML roadmap
- Design, Develop and Operate the Machine Learning flow from the feature engineering to serving the models
- Develop and implement machine learning algorithms and models
- Adapt standard machine learning methods and be a mentor for ML algorithms at our company.
- Explore and deploy new machine learning technologies and frameworks
- Integrate machine learning algorithms with our games and services
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as machine-learning engineer – Must
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in engineering Scala/Java/Python – Must
- Deep understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and models – Must
- Proven experience with implementing production models (Infrastructure, data pipelines etc) – Must
- Understanding of different machine learning algorithm families and their tradeoffs (linear, tree-based, kernel-based, neural networks, unsupervised algorithms, etc.)
- Expert in machine learning libraries and tools such: Pandas, Scikit-learn, NumPy, Notebooks – Must
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related – Must
Advantages:
- Experience working on cloud solutions (GCP a big advantage) – a plus
- Familiar with Apache Spark technologies – an advantage
- Experience working in Agile Scrum methodologies – a plus
- Excellent understanding of development methodologies, paradigms (OOP, FP)
