We are looking for a Director of  Hardware Engineering to join our team. In this role you will lead the development of our hardware solutions. You will work directly with the CTO and take the lead on hardware aspects of the company from definition to production.

Responsibilities

• Manage a interdisciplinary team of electrical and mechanical engineers

• Manage HW budget

• Manage production of our hardware solution through contractors and internal means

• Manage overall schedule of HW design and development process

• Lead research into new components and methodologies

Requirements​

• Proven experience in taking a product from concept to production in an industrial or automotive setting

• Experience in a startup environment

• Experience managing an interdisciplinary team of EE/MEs

• Experience in a similar role for at least 3 years.

• BSc in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering

• Familiarity with Jira/Solidworks PDM or other project management software
